ETUDE ET OPTIMISATION DU RESEAU LOCAL (LAN) DE L'INSTITUT SUPERIEUR TECHNOLOGIQUE DES ARTS ET METIERS DE KISANGANI (ISTAM-KIS)

This study proposes a comprehensive plan for the optimization of the Local Area Network (LAN) at the Institut Supérieur Technologique des Arts et Métiers de Kisangani (ISTAM-KIS). Faced with an aging infrastructure and growing connectivity demands, the institution faces major challenges in supporting its academic and administrative missions. Based on a detailed analysis of the existing network and best practices in network engineering, we present a strategy for progressive optimization. This strategy integrates hardware modernization, configuration optimization, the implementation of Quality of Service (QoS) policies, and the establishment of proactive maintenance. The final objective is to provide ISTAM-KIS with a reliable, secure, and high-performance network, capable of supporting its development and meeting the modern technological needs of higher education.
