Bungin Island, located in Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, holds the distinction of being the world's most densely populated island, with a remarkable population density of approximately 14.133 people/km² over an area of 15 hectares. This unique geographic situation severely limits agricultural opportunities, compelling the community to rely heavily on costly and often inaccessible food imports. Approximately 29.49% of the island's residents are engaged in fishing, while 27.29% face challenges in securing stable employment. Livestock farming, such as raising goats or chicken, is often undertaken to meet the population's protein needs.
